What will I be doing? Reporting into the Senior Internal Communications Manager, you will help SUEZ recycling and recovery UK to deliver its business strategy by putting the SUEZ communications strategy and agreed internal communication plans into action. You will create timely, targeted and compelling content for a variety of internal channels. Working with a diverse range of internal stakeholders, you will write, edit and proofread copy, often translating complex and technical information into clear and concise language. You will manage the day-to-day operation of our internal communication channels. You will champion employee engagement and will take on a leading role with our corporate charity partnerships. What are the requirements? You will have an internal communications background, including one to two years' experience in a communications role. Passion for internal communications is essential and you will have an excellent working knowledge of effective corporate communications. You will be educated to degree level, with qualifications in English language, business or communications preferable. You will have excellent creative written and spoken skills and feel confident writing for a variety of audiences. You will have first class drafting, proofreading and editing skills; be able to write and produce compelling and engaging content under pressure and at short notice, while maintaining strong attention to detail. An expert in using Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint, you will also have previous experience of using content management systems, along with experience of digital communication platforms, for example, MS Office 365 applications like SharePoint, webinars and Viva Engage, and broadcast platforms like GoToWebinar. Excellent interpersonal skills and a supportive and collaborative attitude are a must. You will be happy to work as part of a team. The role will involve some travel to different parts of the UK, so ideally you will hold a current driving licence.
