Permanent Job Opportunity! Internal Fitter North Manchester - excellent access to M62, M60 and M61 motorways. £30,129 plus excellent overtime rates across the week and weekend. Office based role with extensive travel across the UK, Europe, and America. Free Parking. 37 hour working week. Are you a skilled Mechanical Engineer/Fitter/Technician looking for an exciting opportunity? My client is seeking a dedicated individual to join their Production team. This role offers a blend of manufacturing and servicing equipment, primarily based onsite but some travel may very occasionally be required. Key Responsibilities: Assembly & Fitting : Engage in the assembly and fitting of equipment, ensuring high-quality standards. Technical Expertise : Utilise your skills in turning, milling, drilling, and CNC operations to enhance the production process. Team Collaboration : Work closely with the team to troubleshoot, service, and maintain equipment. Mechanical Proficiency : Apply your mechanical engineering and fitting expertise to contribute to our manufacturing efficiency. Electrical Knowledge : Use your electrical knowledge to add value to your role. What We’re Looking For: Experience : Time-served, fully skilled Mechanical Engineer/Fitter with a Level 3 NVQ Diploma. Skills : Proficiency in turning, milling, drilling, and CNC operations. Electrical knowledge is a plus. Qualifications : Strong English and Mathematics skills (equivalent to O’level Grade C/GCSE Grade 5 or higher). Professionalism : Strong technical skills, problem-solving abilities, and good communication skills.
