37 hours per week (Mon-Thurs 08.30-17.00, Fri 08.30-16.30, with a 1-hour lunch break)

Salary:

24,000 - 30,000 per annum, depending on experience Key Responsibilities of a Junior IT Technician Act as the first point of contact for technical issues after training, managing troubleshooting efforts, and ensuring swift resolutions. Oversee onboarding and offboarding processes by facilitating IT setups for new starters and managing offboarding procedures. Support employees with technology issues, hardware and software upgrades, and office equipment replacements. Maintain IT documentation, including tracking tasks through a ticketing system, developing internal user guides, and updating troubleshooting documents. Collaborate on additional projects and tasks as directed by the IT Manager. Contribute to the smooth daily operations of the IT department. Key Skills of a Junior IT Technician Solid IT skills and knowledge of software such as MS Word, Excel, and Outlook. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English. Ability to remain calm and logical when troubleshooting technical challenges. Passion for learning new skills and adapting to changing priorities. Strong time-management skills and the ability to anticipate potential issues. Understanding of Windows operating systems. Capability to resolve issues promptly to minimise downtime after training. Ability to lift and carry equipment (e.g., switches and servers). Familiarity or knowledge of ENTRA/InTune. Desirable Skills: Familiarity with network fundamentals. Knowledge of permissions management and administration, including Active Directory. Knowledge of servers is preferred. Compensation and Benefits 20 days of annual leave, plus 8 bank holidays and 1 day of Birthday Leave. Pension scheme enrolment after 3 months of employment. 6-month probation period.
