The role: As the role of IQA within Corndel you will support the timely submission of learners for End Point Assessment by supporting others to raise the standards of teaching, learning and assessment through quality improvement activity and the development and improvement of outstanding resources, delivery methods, End Point Assessment and ways of working, that positions Corndel as the provider of choice and ensure at least an Ofsted grade 2 in Teaching, Learning and Assessment. Support Reporting to Head of Assessment Responsibilities include: -Driving outstanding teaching, learning, assessment practices through the development, improvement and embedding of a curriculum strategy for specified subject areas to effectively meet End Point Assessment. Including: Providing outstanding feedback, coaching and support to drive staff to achieve and deliver excellent teaching, learning, assessment and preparation for end point assessment. Delivering workshops to support staff to achieve and deliver excellent teaching, learning, assessment and preparation for end point assessment. Monitoring compliance against the qualification standards and drive continuous improvement. Effective planning and monitoring to ensure timely completion of End Point Assessment. Ensuring all actions are tracked to support identification of quality and compliance trends. -Recommending and implementing changes to improve provision and provide training and coaching to enable others to achieve outstanding delivery. Support, develop and continually improve the delivery team. Including: Contributing effectively to Producing delivery guides and support documentation to enhance the delivery programme and End Point Assessment. Delivering/attending standardisation/moderation meetings. Supporting and contributing effectively for identifying development and improvements with reporting mechanisms. Managing and maintaining effective external relationships with awarding organisations staff to meet qualification quality assurance requirements. -Support and advise Head of Assessment in continuous improvement in the delivery of teaching, learning and assessment. Including: Supporting and advising on effective approaches to monitor and improve the quality of teaching, learning and end point assessment. Deliver occasional teaching and/or learning session, and undertake assessments, as and when required. Support the self-assessment process, Ofsted and external audit visits. Promote and safeguard the welfare of all learners and colleagues you are responsible for or encounter. Carry out own personal development as a learning practitioner and CPD updates to meet industry requirements. Consistently demonstrate Corndel values. Experience and Skills: Essential: Knowledge of Apprenticeship Standards and understanding of End Point Assessment Experience in dealing with Awarding Organisations and other curriculum stakeholders. Good understanding of quality assurance systems and the End Point Assessment process. Ability to plan, organise and prioritise own workload. Ability to work productively with initiative and drive output within timescales whilst maintaining attention to detail and quality. Effective communication IT and presentation skills. Current occupational competence in Management standards and End Point Assessment. Management Competence and Qualification L3 or above. Functional skills at level 2 for maths, English and ICT or equivalent. Desirable: Experience of Aptem or other portfolio systems. Experience of working with End Point assessment Organisations. Experience of developing teaching and learning products to deadlines. Experience of managing external curriculum assurance visits and reviews. Experience of influencing senior managers on curriculum development and assessment improvements. Ability to understand, analyse and present data to support business objectives. Teaching and/or learning qualification at level 3 or above. L5 Management Qualification. IQA Level 4 or equivalent. Why join Corndel?
