Are you a detail-oriented financial professional with a passion for reporting, project management, and process improvement? AJ Bell is recruiting for a Reporting and Project Manager to join our team. This newly created role is an exciting opportunity to support the Head of Internal Reporting in delivering high-quality financial reporting, leading key finance-related projects, and driving efficiency and transformation across the Finance function. Key Responsibilities

Reporting: Develop and maintain high-quality internal reporting to support strategic decision-making. Prepare in-depth financial analysis and deliver reports to the Executive Finance Committee. Coordinate and streamline the Business Review process, ensuring timely and accurate reporting aligned with Board deadlines. Enhance Cost Centre reporting processes and develop reporting templates and dashboards. Provide budgeting and forecast data to the FP&A team and prepare audit-supporting materials. Ensure compliance with financial regulations and maintain fully documented reporting processes. Project Management: Lead and manage finance-related projects, ensuring timely delivery and achievement of project goals. Collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop project plans, and provide regular updates to stakeholders. Finance Transformation and Efficiency: Identify opportunities for process improvement and implement best practices in reporting. Collaborate with IT and data analytics teams to enhance reporting systems and processes. Train finance team members on new tools and reporting methodologies. Develop Service Level Agreement (SLA) reporting to monitor financial control efficiency. Support the development and implementation of financial policies and procedures. What We’re Looking For:

Qualified accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA) with a minimum of 5 years PQE. Proven expertise in financial reporting and project management. Strong analytical skills with the ability to present financial insights clearly and concisely. Track record of managing projects and delivering results on time and within budget. Effective communication and interpersonal skills to build relationships at all levels. Experience in a similar role within a regulated or listed company environment. Strong organisational and problem-solving skills with high attention to detail and accuracy. Proficiency in Executive-level reporting and working in fast-paced environments. What we offer:
