Will have worked within
Customer Service
or
Internal Account Management
in a large
Motor Factor, Industrial / Engineering Supplies / Distributor or Trade Commodities
in
Building Supplies, Electrical Wholesale, Plumbers Merchants
or similar environments. We seek excellent sales and business support skills. Product knowledge is not essential for this role; however, we seek individuals with a nose for increasing sales, developing customer spends, and increasing order values through asking great questions. 1st class customer service skills are centric to this role, with a possible long-term ambition to move into a field-based sales role over time. 10 Key Skills: Knowledge and experience of supporting a field sales based function and attentive customer service skills are vital. Ability to take and process orders whilst building solid customer relationships. Nose for increasing and sniffing out incremental sales to increase average order values. Setting up and onboarding new customers to ensure a smooth and seamless customer experience. High level of IT literacy, particularly presentations packages and analytical capabilities via Microsoft Excel. Clear and concise communication skills, written and verbally. Professional outlook able to quickly build and develop customer relationships. Highly organised with a solid work ethic approaching tasks tenaciously. Punctual and enthusiastic can-do work ethic.
