Internal Sales Engineer

to provide Technical Sales and Engineering Support on pressure relief & passive explosion protection products, who is able to demonstrate experience of covering many duties performed within the Support function of an SME company. Responsibilities The successful candidate will be a part of a small Internal Sales team and your key objectives will be to provide technical sales and engineering support to clients. You will be the key point of contact for customers, answering queries, providing technical advice and monitoring progression of accounts. Principal Responsibilities Adhere to the Fike SHEQ & regulatory regimes. Administration of given sales accounts, handling incoming and outgoing correspondence. Provide technical sales and support to solve customer requirements. Provide technical support to customers to assist in solving their particular requirements. Liaise with factory engineering department to facilitate these requirements. Monitor progression of accounts and report to Commercial Manager on a regular basis. Mainly reactive but customers to be contacted on a regular basis for general service and update of situation. Provide backup to Business Development Engineers when required, for preparing quotations etc. Provide general assistance to other staff and Commercial Manager as and when required. Maintain the confidentiality of all information processed. Essential knowledge, qualifications and skills Degree in an Engineering-based subject (or solid Engineering background) Proficient in Gmail, MS Office software - Word, Excel, Access & Outlook. Highly proficient written & verbal communication skills. Ability to work professionally without supervision Preferred knowledge and experience Previously worked in a B2B sales environment, preferably in a mechanical or industrial engineering industry Handled customer accounts, ideally looking after technical or engineered products.
