Permanent SALARY:

£35,000 - £40,000 per annum dependent on relevant experience

My client works within engineering and they are looking to take on an Internal Sales Engineer, on a permanent basis, in the West Yorkshire area.

The Internal Sales Engineer will ideally have the following attributes: NVQ/ HNC/ HND/ BTEC qualified or similar in Mechanical Engineering or Electrical / Electronic Engineering Excellent communication skills both verbal and written; able to work well over the phone Able to work well individually as well as in a team Previous experience in a similar technical engineering, technical sales or manufacturing environment Engineering knowledge such as technical sales, torques, gears, power, machines etc. Proficient with MS Office applications CRM systems / SAP knowledge would be an advantage Training will be provided on both the product and sales side A Full UK Driving Licence would be beneficial but not essential

The Internal Sales Engineer role will involve: Reporting to the Internal Sales Manager Working with customers providing technical advice and customer service Ensuring sales requirements match customers' needs Preparing quotations as required Working over the phone with customers Helping to develop sales to both new and existing customers by offering the correct solutions Providing support to the external sales team with commercial support Selecting the appropriate products Working with the company CRM system
