27 Dec We are recruiting for an Internal Sales Executive to join an established and forward-thinking logistics company in St Albans. Working in a team of 5, the successful candidate will proactively develop new business and build and nurture existing client relationships to maximise the potential. What’s in it for you? Salary: Up to £29k depending on experience Hours: Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm or 8.30am-5.30pm, office based Varied and busy role within a vibrant and diverse office Dealing with companies globally in a fast-paced environment Excellent training and development opportunities, exciting and varied role within a highly successful family business. Key Responsibilities Maximises the potential of new and existing clients, principally through outbound verbal engagement. Builds strong personal relationships with new and existing clients Negotiates with clients and suppliers Submits quotes and converts Talking clients through the administrative requirements of shipping post Brexit Attends and participates in Sales meetings Attends meetings via Zoom or face to face if circumstances permit with key accounts What the client is looking for: Customer service or operations experience Experience of negotiating with clients and or suppliers A friendly telephone manner. An energetic, enthusiastic personality. Strong negotiating skills. Good attention to detail. A positive attitude and desire to succeed.
