How the role will make an impact: To proactively drive key sales quotations, expanding the opportunity and proactively driving a high level of conversion. Creating and tracking the standard product quotations proactively whilst engaging with customers to create highly effective relationships.
Main Tasks & Responsibilities: Create, own and drive a pipeline of specific quotations generated by you and the team to create and maximum order conversion. Follow up higher value quotations within 24 hours of issue. Methodically and systematically categorise those to be included in the follow up pipeline. Expand on the initial information using the enquiry information where appropriate. Engage with internal and external influencers to maximise the quote conversion probability. Extend beyond the quote where required to identify other tenders and main contractor decision makers as required to maximise conversion. Have a systematic and methodical approach in the managing, prioritising and tracking of the quote opportunities.
Key Skills: The ability to have a proactive and tenacious sales acumen to fully investigate, track and convert a defined schedule of key quotations. Effective and proactive relationship management skills to engage with standard product customers including merchants to drive a high level of sales conversion. Passionate about winning the order. High investigative skills. Comfortable with overcoming objections. Skilled in finding multiple routes to the source of information.
