What we're looking for:
We are looking for a person with a technical background who is a good problem solver, and can talk at a technical level with automation, quality, and research and development engineers.
Candidate Profile:
A technical qualification in an engineering or science discipline is required for this role, ideally NVQ level 5 or higher. Hands-on experience of working in an engineering, quality, or research environment is preferred. Previous knowledge of Micro-Epsilon products is not essential as full training will be given.
A proactive approach to dealing with new customer enquiries is essential. A good communicator, with the focus on building long-term customer relationships, is required for this role.

Key Responsibilities:
Be the first point of contact for new incoming enquiries
Discuss at a technical level in order to understand customer requirements
Work with the field sales team to review the requirement and determine the best next steps
Manage your own projects where you prepare quotations, technical documentation, and proposals and supply to the customer
Be the first line of technical support for customer questions
Liaise with the company headquarters (Micro-Epsilon GmbH) for further product information and technical support when required
Occasional travel to customer sites and UK exhibitions/seminars
Occasional overseas travel for product training
