The Ideal Candidate: Internal sales or account management experience gained within technical/ industrial sectors (manufacturing, engineering, automotive, aerospace, fasteners, seals). Graduate calibre education in business or engineering-related subjects. A customer-centric attitude and a proven track record in either internal sales/account management or field sales as an individual contributor, having progressed to a player-coach team leadership role. Demonstrated success in leading and developing high-performing, customer-centric sales teams. Enthusiastic personality able to foster a one-team culture. Strong understanding of sales principles and account planning and management perhaps having been trained/gained experience within a multinational or large market-leading organisation. Skilled in managing complex inquiries, quotations, and custom orders in a high-volume environment. Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills. Able to motivate, mentor, and coach a small team of internal account executives. Well-organised and able to manage your own multiple accounts whilst also leading and supporting your team. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Proficient in using CRM software and Microsoft Office suite. Ability to assess data and identify trends and opportunities to further strengthen account relationships into national or key accounts.
