Location: Towcester

35 hours a week, early finish Friday
Monday-Thursday: 8am-4pm, Friday: 8am-1pm Or Monday-Thursday: 9am-5pm, Friday: 9am-2pm.
The job:
To support the sales of a wide range of industrial sensors solutions into a broad variety of OEM market sectors to include Automation, Process/Packaging, Medical, Aerospace, Defence, Marine, and Oil & Gas.
To support the external sales engineers in the issuing of quotations and the follow-up calls. To offer technical support and guidance on a Sensor suitable for the customer application. To identify and pursue other possible Sensor opportunities from enquiries with a proactive sales approach. To assist in managing existing accounts through ongoing contact on a regular basis. To work closely with the external sales team as deemed necessary in supporting all sales-related activities. To visit accounts as required with the external sales team to assist in relationship building and understanding of their business and the application of the sensors.
Skills and Experience: Previous internal sales experience essential. Technical bias in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering with recognised qualifications preferably. Good interpersonal & communication skills. Team player. Able to liaise with contacts at all levels. Previous experience of using CRM system essential. Computer literate; proficient in the use of Excel, Word, and PowerPoint. Excellent verbal and written skills.
