This truly is a one-off opportunity! Working with a dynamic and disruptive global Medical Device business, the International Business Development Director - EMEA and N. America will be responsible for driving revenue and growth through non-traditional / inorganic opportunities. Specifically, this will involve the identification, engagement, negotiation, risk / reward assessment, and closure of opportunities within:

Joint Ventures Strategic Alliances Mergers and Acquisitions Identification and development of new clinical areas of opportunity

Working at C-Suite level with both internal and external stakeholders, the appointed person will have significant autonomy for (and responsibility for reporting on):

International non-traditional Business Development Strategy Targeting and researching opportunities Negotiating and executing transactions Leading BD governance processes

Current clinical exposure / market areas: Ultrasound Endoscopy Infection Prevention Additional clinical uses sought and possible

Applicant: A senior, strategic Business Development professional from the Medical Device market International Experience ideally Proven Track record of success throughout their career Proven high level negotiation skills - C-Suite is essential Experience within Endoscopy, Infection Prevention, Ultrasound would be VERY advantageous Broad, deep knowledge of the medical device sector and ideally contacts and advocacy networks to leverage.
