Responsibilities Identifying & developing new customer relationships Identify and secure award for major projects and opportunities Formulating and managing regional/territorial commercial plans Nurturing existing relationships to maximise spend Converting leads/new customers into profitable sales Positively representing the company Following the delivery of new customer orders/projects Positioning Geosense as a key partner for major projects around the world Providing clear and concise data on leads and projects Liaising with customers and provide key updates to the Managing Director Identifying possible threats and make Managing Director aware and work together to achieve a suitable outcome (ideally be proactive and suggest course of action) Ensuring accurate information is gathered and inputted to the system for the benefit of the Sales Pipeline. Analysing statistics or other data to determine the level of sales and customer service you are providing. Maintaining and sharing professional and technical knowledge and keeping up to date with new and available technologies. Any other duties which might reasonably be requested in association with this role in order to meet the needs of the business This individual ideally would: Be Driven Be Bold Be Strategic Be Determined Be Proactive Be Accountable Spot and capitalise on the opportunity Understand the commercial landscape Have a desire to win Have commercial awareness Be committed to the company and the team Have at least 5 years’ experience in either a business development or sales management role Have experience of construction sensing/monitoring products Enjoy identifying and developing new customer relationships Be excited to join a great team of individuals at an exciting time A minimum of five years’ experience working in a senior business development/sales management role Who are we? This role is UK based, and full-time hours are typically 9am-5.30pm (with a flexible working policy in place).
