The International Regional Business Director (IRBD) EMEA is a critical Commercial role within the International Business Unit (IBU). The IRBD EMEA is responsible for ensuring sustainable revenue and profit growth through collaboration, management and development of third-party contracted distributors. This role includes identifying, analyzing, modelling and developing profitable business growth opportunities including optimizing sales channel models, assigning new distributors, entering new markets and developing partnerships, to achieve and exceed budgeted targets and objectives, whilst expanding market share and portfolio adoption. The IRBD ensures the strategies and tactics adopted align with both Acumed's IBU and Enterprise-wide strategic goals and actively collaborates with both internal and external stakeholders; including Marketing, Finance, Operations and Regulatory functions, to implement and achieve agreed objectives. In addition, the IRBD reports frequently on performance, to agreed KPIs and objectives and manages budgeted company resources, adhering to corporate policies. Business Development Strategy & Management

Identify, validate and execute expansion opportunities into new geographies within the assigned region. In collaboration with the International Finance Director, assist with the financial modelling of channel conversion opportunities in existing markets. Research and analyze local, regional and national markets and channel models to identify revenue and profit growth opportunities. Develop and implement market-specific plans to sustainably grow revenue, expand market share, and meet business targets. Manage the day-to-day relationship and business activities of Distributors in the assigned region. Establish clear goals, metrics, and responsibilities with distributor partners; regularly monitoring and providing feedback on performance. Provide monthly reports and forecasts on performance, metrics, and market trends. Pricing & Market Strategy

Collaborate with the Pricing team to research and set optimal pricing strategies, considering market dynamics such as healthcare reimbursement rates and competitive positioning. Propose and manage promotional and incentive programs to boost sales revenue and profitability. Training & Distributor Relations

Partner with the International Marketing Manager in the assigned region to coordinate and optimize medical education and sales training events, ensuring solution-based selling across the Acumed portfolio. Train sales channels on product ordering, registration processes, and capacity expansion. Ensure successful product launches through collaboration with marketing and distributor commercial teams. Compliance & Resource Management

Partner with the Compliance and QA/RA teams to ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and ethical standards, especially when interacting with Health Care Professionals (HCPs). Manage activities efficiently, optimizing resources, budgets, and time management. Assist with department goals while ensuring adherence to assigned budgets. Relationship Building

Establish, maintain and continuously develop relationships with sales channels, partners, key accounts and key Opinion Leaders. Represent Acumed at international congresses, symposia, and other events to build brand recognition. Contract, Inventory & Financial Oversight

Manage and keep up to date all distribution contracts and agreements and act as the lead person for all distributor negotiations. Provide detailed unit and revenue regional forecasts for demand planning purposes and IBP. Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual budgeted revenue and forecasts. Work closely with the Inventory and Finance teams to assess program effectiveness and facilitate invoice collection activities.
