Our client is a large independent accountancy firm with a big tax team. Their corporate tax function seeks a Senior Tax Manager with an advisory focus to become part of their expanding team. Situated in the heart of Cheltenham, this firm is multi award winning, well regarded, with a sound reputation earned through serving a wide-ranging and diverse clientele. In this advisory focused role your responsibilities will include:
* Specialist advice to OMBs, mid-market and large corporate clients, all of whom have a international angle, providing you with the opportunities to work with a broad client portfolio.
* Build and maintain tax relationships with corporate clients and provide a high level of client service.
*Project-manage advisory work in conjunction with partners or directors, including transfer pricing, thin capitalisation and international tax planning ensuring technical excellence and a commercial approach.
*Advise clients on trading abroad or within the UK and relevant tax issues.
*Manage a client portfolio providing planning advice and supervising corporate tax compliance.
* Provide tax technical support to other teams including M&A support.
*Assist with the management and development of more junior staffl.
You will thrive in this role if:
* You are CTA, ADIT and/or ACCA/ACA/ICAS qualified or have equivalent qualifications or experience.
* You have experience of delivering tax-advisory projects
*You are client driven and commercially aware.
