In Workforce, you'll help leading UK and international employers maximise their biggest asset—their people. You might define HR strategies, advise on workforce effectiveness, guide senior executives on global personal tax obligations, or implement cutting-edge HR technology. You'll work across various sectors, learning about employment tax risk, cost reduction, and employer social responsibility.
Risk & Regulation
The Risk & Regulation team, part of Workforce, has over 250 members and is rapidly growing. You'll advise clients on Reward, Executive Compensation, Remuneration Regulation, Employee Performance, Pay Governance, and related tax/financial matters. With an increased focus on corporate reputation, executive pay, performance-based pay, governance, cost control, and compliance with global regulations, our clients constantly need our assistance.

What you'll do
In the Risk and Regulation Reward and Employment team, you’ll draw on your problem-solving skills to advise clients in this complex and challenging area.
Specific responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
Advising and working closely with clients on all aspects of reward strategy, from design through to detailed implementation for executives and the wider workforce.
Reviewing company executive compensation disclosure, governance and reporting against the requirements to support with compliance.
Researching and preparing reports, guidance and advice for HR contacts, remuneration committees, tax, finance and payroll departments and employees, centered around legal, tax and regulatory guidelines of pay, benchmarking, and specific elements of the remuneration packages such as bonus and share incentives.
Providing research and data on market practice in various aspects of pay to support companies' decisions, including executive pay benchmarking, incentive plan design, global operation, taxation, and accounting.

What you'll need
You’ll need to be in your penultimate year of an undergraduate or postgraduate degree;
or you’ll need to be in your final year of an undergraduate degree with a one-year postgraduate place confirmed;
and you'll need to have achieved or be on track to pass an undergraduate degree or above in any subject. We determine whether you're on course to pass based on the grades you achieved in your last completed year of academic study.
