As an Interviewer/Assessor, you’ll play a pivotal role in guiding and nurturing candidates through their journey to join the British Army. You’ll create an unbiased, friendly, and controlled environment where candidates can thrive.

You will be responsible for conducting assessments, implementing assessments under strict test conditions. Evaluating fairly using a detailed marking guide to grade candidates accurately and providing a supportive and encouraging atmosphere throughout the assessment process.

This role will involve working a shift pattern of 37.5 hours per week onsite. This will include overnight chaperone and ‘on call’ duties once per week. You will be expected to work one weekend per month, which includes a Saturday and Sunday.

What you’ll be doing: Briefing and delivering all assessment activities under test conditions Contributing to an un-biased test environment for all assessment activities Assessing candidates against fixed criteria Providing feedback on a candidate’s performance at assessment, their assessment outcome and their next steps in the recruitment process Conducting individual career discussions with candidates, in a formal interview setting Writing accurate reports to assist Recruiters and Basic Training Instructors to understand the candidate’s strengths and weaknesses What we’re looking for: Good communication skills both verbal and written Ability to nurture and mentor candidates Confident people skills Familiarity with Army Careers, would be an advantage Organised approach with strong attention to detail About Recruiting Partnering Project (RPP): At Capita Recruiting Partnering Project, we’re transforming the British Army’s recruitment service.
