As a member of the Interweave Team, you will provide project support and experience to support the delivery of the Shared Care Record Programme. Working with our stakeholders to ensure access and the best use of systems and digital technology to support the delivery of patient care. Additionally, you will support the PMO to develop policies, guidelines and processes that support the delivery of project and change management across the collaborative.

Main duties of the job

To lead and support the planning and management of Interweave onboarding process including liaising with workstream leads to ensure their tasks are completed within the timescales. To address any deviations to the delivery of the project plan activities and escalate any risks to them or other identified programme risks to the programme manager/project manager. The post holder will offer a high standard of evidence-based professional leadership, knowledge and experience within Projects and service transformation. To work autonomously and develop substantial support systems relevant to the area of work. To initiate and lead the planning and development of a service/project as a member of the team.

Person Specification

Qualifications and Knowledge

Essential

Knowledge of specific area, acquired through diploma or equivalent experience or training, plus further management knowledge or experience to degree level equivalent. Prince2 or Agile Foundation Qualification or relevant experience. Ability to work autonomously and use initiative and judgement in decision making. Ability to work with sensitive information and approach issues diplomatically.

Desirable

Post graduate qualification and/or specialist knowledge of project, programme, change, benefits and risk management acquired through training and/or experience. In-depth theoretical study of a broad range of techniques/processes relating to the specialist area. Prince2 or Agile Practitioner qualification. A full understanding of relevant policy, legislation drivers and their application to the relevant service area. Evidence of expertise within a specialism.

Experience

Essential

Understanding of a range of work procedures and practices, requiring expertise within a specialism, underpinned by theoretical knowledge or equivalent experience. Experience in adapting/designing information systems. Experience of using a range of Microsoft packages including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project, Visio and Outlook. Proven experience of building effective working relationships.

Desirable

Specialist knowledge across a range of work procedures and practices underpinned by theoretical knowledge or relevant practical experience. Evidence of continuing professional development (CPD) relevant to the specialist service area. Evidence of development of specialist practice and able to demonstrate the impact of this on service change/development. Experience of MS Project and MS Visio.

Skills and Competencies

Essential

Evidence of effective inter-personal communication skills. Evidence of effective persuasive, motivational and negotiating skills. Able to plan and prioritise effectively. Excellent organisational skills. Ability to work effectively as part of a team. Ability to effectively commute between various sites.
