Role Overview
We are looking for an experienced Magnolia CMS Developer to join our team on a 6-month contract, with potential for extension. This fully remote role involves building, maintaining, and optimizing digital solutions on the Magnolia CMS platform.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop & Customize: Build and maintain websites, components, and applications using Magnolia CMS.
- Solution Implementation: Translate business and technical requirements into scalable CMS solutions.
- Extend Functionality: Develop custom modules, templates, and widgets within Magnolia CMS.
- Optimize Performance: Ensure websites and applications are optimized for performance, scalability, and security.
- Quality Assurance: Conduct code reviews, testing, and debugging to ensure code quality.
- Documentation: Create technical documentation and design specifications for future support.
Required Qualifications
- Magnolia CMS Expertise: 3+ years of experience with Magnolia CMS, including templating and custom module development.
- Java Proficiency: Strong background in Java, with experience in Java-based application development.
- Front End Knowledge: Familiarity with HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and optionally Front End frameworks.
- CMS Knowledge: Solid understanding of content modelling, asset management, and CMS workflows.
- API Integration: Experience with RESTful API integrations.
- Database Skills: Proficient in MySQL, PostgreSQL, or similar databases.
- Version Control: Experience with Git or similar version control systems.
