Red Snapper Recruitment are currently recruiting on behalf of our policing client based in Staffordshire for Investigative Consultants.
Offering a 6 month contract with a possible extension, at a rate of 16.50p per hour. Full time/Part time hours can be considered.
Main duties and responsibilities Conduct thorough investigations Retrieve and review CCTV evidence Identify and interview suspects and witnesses Prepare comprehensive case files for prosecution Outside enquiries and statement taking Support the timely progression of cases through the Criminal Justice system Collaborate with other team members and integrate with existing Police operations Person Specification PIP2 qualified or time served experience Previous experience using HOLMES (desirable) Extensive experience in conducting complex criminal investigations Strong understanding of CCTV analysis Proficiency in interview techniques for both suspects and witnesses Experience in preparing case files for prosecution Proficiency in relevant police IT systems Current vetting would be ideal The role is subject to Police security vetting. Therefore applicants must have resided in the UK for at least the last 5 years.
