The Opportunity
Cornell is seeking an ambitious Investment Analyst to join our client's dynamic team. The successful candidate will play a critical role in supporting investment activities and contributing to the firm’s mission to back the most promising startups in the global tech scene. As a close-knit team, this role offers a unique chance to be involved in their exciting journey from the beginning.
Key Responsibilities
Conduct in-depth market research to identify emerging trends and potential investment opportunities in high-growth sectors.
Actively identify and evaluate new investment prospects, collaborating with the senior team to conduct preliminary due diligence.
Assist in the due diligence process for new investments, including analysing financial statements, business models, and market potential.
Develop and nurture a strong network of entrepreneurs, investors and industry leaders.
Qualifications
A strong academic background combined with a passion for sectors that blend technology with consumer engagement.
Prior experience in technology, consulting or investment with a clear interest in VC and the startup ecosystem.
Strong analytical and financial skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with entrepreneurs and investors.
A proactive, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
