Our friendly London Office is looking for an Investment Assistant to join their strongly knit, experienced team.

Initially, you’ll focus on day-to-day portfolio management, but in time, you’ll build up your own client bank, with the full support of the Senior Investment Managers within the office.

What could your day look like?

Within this regulated role (and under the appropriate guidance), you’ll be supporting our Investment Managers with managing client portfolios, fostering strong relationships whilst maintaining an extremely high level of client care and service with clients and Introducers.

You’ll assist with the regular monitoring of client portfolios, conducting transactions to maintain portfolios suitable to clients’ investment objectives. You’ll action all communications and instructions promptly and efficiently.

You’ll be participating and contributing to our investment process, keeping up to date with market & investment information. You’ll maintain a working knowledge of relevant professional developments, ensuring that these are acted upon in the clients’ and the Company’s interests.

What’s in it for you?

A competitive salary and great benefits, including private medical care, paid birthday leave, and opportunities to volunteer for charity.

You’ll gain experience within a friendly, expanding business from a knowledgeable team of senior investment managers.

A varied and busy role working from our offices in the centre of Salisbury.

What do you need to be successful?

A keen interest in investment markets, great communication and organisational skills, and meticulous attention to detail.

Ideally, the CISI Level 4 qualification. If you’re not yet qualified but have a demonstrable interest in investment management, we’d love to hear from you.

Up to date knowledge of markets, asset classes, and stocks/funds, along with a desire to learn and a positive approach.

This role is based in our Haymarket office in London, so we’ll need you to be within an easily commutable distance please.

We are committed to equality of opportunity for all, we care passionately about our staff, and are committed to promoting and protecting the physical and mental health of all our employees.
