Responsibilities:

  1. Perform rigorous financial analyses to support investment decisions, including valuation, structure, returns.
  2. Prepare Investment Committee memoranda and present recommendations to the Investment Committee.
  3. Assist deal team members with underwriting, negotiating and closing investments.
  4. Contribute to the ongoing management of investments to enhance value across the portfolio.
  5. Contribute to pursuing creative and optimal exit strategies to maximize returns.
  6. Keep abreast of the competitive landscape and current trends across private equity and other private markets.
  7. Begin networking to develop relationships internally with colleagues and externally with GPs, LPs, intermediaries, etc.
  8. Represent the firm in the market by networking and speaking at industry conferences and other events.

Skills:

  1. 2+ years of experience in a relevant role on the sell-side or buy-side.
  2. Solid foundation of quantitative and qualitative analytical skills.
  3. Strong Communication Skills.
  4. Team Orientation - Foster collaboration within and across teams.
  5. Positive attitude, takes initiative, thirst for learning, ability to ramp up quickly.
  6. Exceptional work ethic - drive, self-motivated as well as ability to motivate others.
  7. Fosters mutual trust and respect; demonstrates solid values, ethics and moral compass.
