Job Description
My client, are a market-leading special situations investor, looking for an Investment Associate to be based in their London office. This firm are multi-sector but have a strong focus on Real Estate. With approximately $5billion of discretionary capital under management, this client focus on providing asset-backed capital solutions to small/mid-cap businesses, as well as institutional investors. Investments are across the full capital structure, with a focus on non-core / out-of-favour asset classes. We are looking for 2-4 years' of experience ideally. Suitable candidates might come from investment banking teams, potentially in FIG, Leveraged Finance, Real Estate or M&A teams, but also Real Estate investment firms due to the sector focus. Responsibilities: Due diligence and wider analysis on potential investments Sourcing and identifying investment opportunities as well as relationships Market research and analysis to support investment thesis Collaborating with the wider investment team Monitoring the investment portfolio, produce analysis and support other parties in delivering returns.
