We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced
Senior Investment Broker
to lead our expansion efforts within the trading/managed accounts sector. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of financial markets, trading products, and institutional clients. You will be responsible for identifying and securing new business opportunities, fostering long-term client relationships, and driving revenue growth. This role demands a strong background in business development, trading, and an entrepreneurial mindset to help scale the company’s market presence. Key Responsibilities:
Business Development Strategy: Develop and execute a robust business development strategy targeting trading houses, institutional clients, hedge funds, brokers, and proprietary trading firms. Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities in trading, including commodities, FX, equities, derivatives, and other financial instruments. Evaluate potential markets and create entry strategies to penetrate them. Client Acquisition: Source, pitch, and close new business deals with institutional clients. Build and manage a portfolio of high-value trading clients by leveraging existing relationships and new networks. Client Relationship Management: Build long-term, strategic partnerships with clients by understanding their trading needs, challenges, and goals. Act as a trusted advisor to clients, delivering tailored solutions that enhance client trading performance. Revenue Growth: Drive revenue through the acquisition of new clients and the retention of existing clients. Meet and exceed sales targets while ensuring profitability and sustainable growth. Industry Analysis: Stay informed on market trends, regulatory changes, and competitor activities to identify new opportunities and threats. Provide regular market feedback to senior management for strategic planning. Sales Presentations & Negotiations: Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, pitches, and proposals to potential clients. Negotiate terms of business, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements. Key Qualifications:
Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in business development, sales, or client relationship management within the financial markets or trading sector. A proven track record of securing and managing large institutional clients. Industry Knowledge: Deep understanding of trading instruments such as FX, commodities, equities, derivatives, and market-making services. Knowledge of the trading ecosystem, including liquidity providers, brokers, and hedge funds. Sales Acumen: Strong sales and negotiation skills with a demonstrated ability to close high-value deals. Ability to sell complex trading products and services to sophisticated clients. Client-Centric: Strong client relationship management skills with the ability to build rapport and trust at senior levels. Experience in developing long-term partnerships with institutional clients. Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present complex trading solutions clearly and persuasively to senior stakeholders.
