To be responsible for providing personalised investment advice and portfolio management to the client, ensuring that investment portfolios are managed in line with the Company’s investment philosophies & process.Key ResponsibilitiesTo look after and support client needsTo execute the annual Business plan in line with agreed individual targetsTo build new client relationships and develop existing client relationships through effective. ongoing service to help minimise attrition, and to deliver new instructions and referrals as a result of satisfied clientsStructure and lead client meetings in a professional manner, ensuring all information provided is up to date, technically accurate and meets clients’ needsTo construct & maintain suitable portfolios in line with the clients’ requirements, circumstances, tax situation and attitude to riskTo review portfolios regularly and make portfolio changes consulting with colleagues, where appropriateTo place deals accurately and in a timely fashionTo work in partnership with Financial Planning (FP)and Professional Services (PS) colleagues to develop client relationshipsEnsure comprehensive client records are kept and that these are accurate and up to date at all times and in line with Group policyTo strive for no complaints and where they are received ensure that they are raised with the Client Resolution team in a timely fashion and assist in bringing them to a satisfactory resolutionEnsure that knowledge and skills are maintained and developed in line with industry, regulatory and internal requirements by undertaking regular and appropriate CPD in order to reach their full potential (for the wider benefit of the Group) Investment Research –Sector Specialist (where appropriate)Required to work as part of a team focussing on direct equity or collective sector analysis to support the firm’s wider Investment Process needsUnderstand the sector, providing appropriate recommendations, based on a wide range of resources• Actively participate in regular meetings, taking ownership of actions, and working in conjunction with other sector specialistsConstruct materials as determined within the sector teams to support analysis and communication to Investment ManagersLeading the team and ensuring standards are met (where appropriate)  QualificationsUnderstanding of the financial services industry and investment marketExperience of managing client investment portfolios and providing investment adviceExperience of remodelling newly acquired portfolios and bringing them into line with the investment policyTechnical / product knowledge and effective communication of wide-ranging investment Management strategies and solutionsAbility to work well in pressurised environment and prioritise workExcellent communication skills both written and verbalExcellent numeracy and analytical skillsExperience of leading pitches and winning new businessExperience of operating within a risk management framework together with a thorough understanding of the risks and threats pertaining to a private client businessAdditional InformationAs a colleague here at Evelyn Partners, you will have access to benefits that include:Competitive salaryPrivate medical insuranceLife assurancePension contributionHybrid working model (role dependant)Generous holiday packageOption to purchase additional holidayShared parental leaveWe are proud to value the differences that a diverse workforce brings, representative of society and our clients.
