Investment Manager (Renewable Energy - Wind & Solar) My client, a leading developer in the wind and solar energy sector, is looking for an experienced and results-driven Investment Manager. This role will focus on structuring and securing financing for large-scale renewable energy projects, with a primary focus on wind and solar developments. Fluency in German is required, as the position involves significant interaction with local stakeholders, investors, and financial institutions. Key Responsibilities: Lead the investment analysis, structuring, and execution of project finance deals for wind and solar energy projects. Develop detailed financial models to evaluate project returns, risks, and investment opportunities. Manage relationships with banks, institutional investors, and other financial partners to secure equity and debt financing. Oversee the preparation of investment memoranda and presentations for internal committees and external stakeholders. Conduct thorough due diligence on potential investments, coordinating with legal, technical, and environmental teams. Negotiate financing terms and manage contractual agreements with financial institutions and investors. Monitor the performance of the portfolio, providing recommendations to optimize financial returns and mitigate risks. Work closely with the development team to align financial strategies with project development timelines. Stay informed about market trends, regulatory changes, and innovations in the renewable energy investment landscape. Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Renewable Energy, or related fields; a Master’s degree or CFA qualification is preferred. 5+ years of experience in investment management or project finance, ideally within the renewable energy or infrastructure sectors. Proven track record of successfully structuring and closing complex financial transactions in wind or solar energy. Strong financial modeling, analytical, and negotiation skills. Fluent in German and English (spoken and written) is mandatory. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage relationships with senior stakeholders, investors, and lenders. Knowledge of the regulatory and market landscape for renewable energy projects in Germany and Europe is a plus. Benefits: Competitive salary with performance-based bonuses.
