Responsibilities: Write equity research reports on both individual funds and broader sectors (i.e. UK equities, Emerging Markets equities etc.), utilising quantitative and qualitative information and providing sector/market context. Analyse and summarise key Investment Trust news for our Daily Briefing each morning. Closely monitor developments in global markets and investigate areas of potential client interest to contextualise research and determine topics for future reports. Respond to client queries or data requests. Prepare board meeting reports for corporate broking clients. Skills: University degree or equivalent. Knowledge or close awareness of the Investment Trust sector. Knowledge of Morningstar, Bloomberg and/or Refinitiv functionality. Experience in building/maintaining financial models. Advanced Excel user (VBA) or programming languages.
