I'm currently seeking a
Solutions Engineer
for a dynamic opportunity with my client. This role is perfect for an experienced engineer looking to transition into a solutions-focused position while leveraging their technical expertise to deliver exceptional results for clients. Key Responsibilities: Design and implement customer-facing Disaster Recovery solutions, including smoke tests, drills, and invocations. Perform scripted and manual recoveries of virtual machines, physical machines, and various application types. Troubleshoot and maintain customer runbooks, recovery methods, and supported DR infrastructure. Assist in the configuration of switches and firewalls (pfSense) and in troubleshooting complex technical issues. Document processes, procedures, and diagrams for completed tasks in tools like JIRA and Zendesk. Accountabilities: Collaborate effectively with customers and internal teams to ensure Disaster Recovery readiness. Exhibit a strong understanding of hypervisor environments such as Hyper-V, Nutanix, VMware, and networking fundamentals (IP subnets). Uphold high standards for system reliability, documentation, and customer satisfaction.
