What You Will Be Doing

Connexin is looking for a dynamic, passionate and experienced IoT Network Architect to design, deliver, optimise and evolve our IoT LPWAN Networks. The IoT Network Architect will be the subject matter expert for design, development, implementation and optimisation of our IoT LPWAN networks, delivered at scale for diverse industries and IoT business cases. You will work with our Infrastructure Build Team, Network Operations, Technical Solutions, Sales and other stakeholders to ensure our IoT LPWAN Networks exceed the desired KPI’s and outcomes that our customers require. We expect impeccable representation of the Connexin brand and a ‘hands on’ approach to the challenges the role will bring. Key Responsibilities

Owner of Connexin’s IoT Network cost base, architecture and optimisation processes Work with Finance on network internal rate of return (IRR) and commercial proposition for IoT connectivity Optimise the IoT network based on key parameters incl. cost, commercials, KPI’s, data success, battery life Evaluate and build partnerships with key suppliers of hardware, firmware, software and cloud to ensure the best customer experience and business case alignment Innovation - develop and extend our capability in the IoT network space Design and architect integration with other networking technologies (NB-IoT, OMS, mioty, etc) Owner of network planning (RF). Liaise with Infrabuild to ensure network build out can be executed against the agreed business case Own the design integration of data to the customer’s or Connexin’s HES/Platform(s) Bid writing for network sections of tenders/ bids Essential Qualifications, Skills And Competencies

Low Power Wide Area Networking (LPWAN) architect with expertise and experience in LoRaWAN and other LPWAN technologies An experienced network architect with a track record of successfully implementing IoT networks and solutions, based on LPWAN (LoRaWAN and NB-IoT) technologies A deep understanding of the IoT technology sector and relevant network technologies, devices, platforms and IoT solutions/use cases Have enthusiasm for IoT and technology in general; a willingness and drive to learn and understand the application of IoT Network technologies to key business cases A clear communicator, able to pitch complex topics to stakeholders with a wide range of perspectives and digital expertise; calm and composed when placed under pressure A thought leader with a voice who contributes to the wider conversation around IoT network design through writing/speaking etc A skilled builder of relationships for long-term success Have a problem-solving mentality and a can-do attitude for internal collaboration and with suppliers A goal-setting and go-getting attitude to take responsibility for finding and developing best in class network infrastructure hardware, software and methodologies to deliver Connexin’s business requirements A relentless focus on achieving the required targets Where appropriate constructively challenge the status quo to drive a culture of holistic success and help Connexin to be “ahead of the curve” Essential Experience

Previous experience in a similar role involving IoT LPWAN (LoRaWAN, NB-IoT) network design, implementation and optimisation IoT Network Infrastructure and Cloud development Experience in dealing with large corporate customers in a network design or consultancy role Experience in Utilities and Smart City/Buildings verticals a plus Desirable Qualifications, Skills, Competencies And Experience
