What you will be doing Connexin is looking for a dynamic, passionate and experienced Solution Architect to develop and represent our key IoT strategic solutions. Engaging with customers to understand their challenges and requirements, delivering innovative and scalable IoT solutions that help existing and new customers meet compliance, decarbonisation and ESG targets. Supporting the sales, marketing and technical teams on our IoT journey. The Solution Architect will be the principal point of contact for solution design, development and GTM strategy for each. We expect impeccable representation of the Connexin brand, looking for ways to exceed the customer use-case outcomes and develop the use cases to further business with them, increasing revenue and margin. Responsibility for pro-actively creating new opportunities in smart city/smart buildings/smart places/smart water & utilities and network infrastructure, playing a key part in Connexin’s IoT strategy. A competitive salary will be offered for this position, that can be discussed at interview. Key Responsibilities Essential qualifications and experience Strong technical expertise in IoT LPWAN networking technology & platforms, data science and analytics Previous experience in a similar role involving IoT / technical solution development, project design and implementation IoT Infrastructure and data platform development Experience in dealing with large organisations (public sector, enterprise) customers in a solution design or consultancy role Experience in Smart Utilities, Smart Cities & Buildings a plus Essential skills and competencies An experienced technical solution architect with a track record of successfully implementing IoT solutions Excellent platform and application development knowledge A deep understanding of the IoT sector, experience of LPWAN technology (LoRaWAN, NB-IoT), platforms and IoT solutions/use cases Have passion and enthusiasm for IoT and technology in general; a willingness and drive to learn and understand the products and solutions both “under the hood” and from a customer perspective A clear communicator, able to pitch complex topics to stakeholders with a wide range of perspectives and digital expertise; calm and composed when placed under pressure An executive with a voice who contributes to the wider conversation around IoT through writing/speaking etc A skilled builder of relationships for long-term success Have a problem-solving mentality and a can-do attitude to do as much for the customers A goal-setting and go-getting attitude to take responsibility for finding and developing best in class network infrastructure hardware, methods and locations to deliver Connexin’s business requirements while always focusing on the right solutions for the customer A relentless focus on achieving the required targets Where appropriate constructively challenge the status quo to drive a culture of holistic success and help customers to be “ahead of the curve” In addition to the above, the candidate must have: Excellent verbal and written communication skills Full understanding of Connexin’s mission Strong negotiation and customer service skills Multitasking skills Data collection and analysis skills Listening skills Interpersonal skills Emotional intelligence Benefits Great Culture & Awesome People! 25 Days Holiday + Bank Holidays + Birthday Day Off Enhanced Parental Benefits Employee Referral Scheme Flexible Working Bike to Work Scheme Volunteer days Company events & awards Employee Assistance Program (Medicash- health cash plan including: virtual GP, reimbursements for optical, dental appointments, access to physiotherapy, health screening programs, discounts on gym memberships and various other lifestyle discounts) Equality and Diversity Connexin is committed to ensuring that all candidates for any role at Connexin are treated equally and with respect.
