Join our dynamic team as a Credit Risk Modelling Specialist! In this role, you will be instrumental in developing and refining credit risk parameters while collaborating with colleagues to enhance credit risk models for both retail and non-retail portfolios. Key Responsibilities: Develop and improve IRB credit risk parameters (PD, LGD, EAD) and manage the lifecycle of models, including scoping and governance approval. Conduct annual reviews of models to ensure accuracy and reliability, while researching best practices for quantifying credit risk in line with UK PRA's Basel 3.1 IRB standards. Collaborate with various teams to ensure effective use of models within Investec's credit risk framework. Core Skills and Knowledge: Bachelor's or Master's degree in a quantitative field (e.g., Maths, Physics, Engineering, Economics) with strong academic performance. Practical experience in developing PD and LGD models within IRB regulatory frameworks, along with proficiency in SQL or Python.
