In this role of IT Team Administrator, you’ll play a key role in providing administrative support to our two busy IT departments. The Barbican team provides support to staff, artists, contractors, commercial events, and exhibitions. The Guildhall School team supports students, staff, and commercial events. You will report directly to the Head of IT at the Barbican Centre and the Guildhall School. Responsibilities: Provide administrative support to the IT departments. Assist in undertaking IT projects using Agile Project Management methodology. Plan, design, deliver, and assess training for individuals and large groups in the use of specialist software. Write and update software guidance/training manuals. Qualifications: To be successful in your application you will have experience of working as an administrator in a busy office environment. With your excellent oral and written communication skills, you will have excellent customer service skills and be a team player with the ability to multi-task. A genuine interest in Information Technology would also be of advantage as would experience of intranet administration. You will possess a high degree of proficiency with the Microsoft SharePoint packages and working with databases. Days of work will be on Monday and Tuesday, and then either a Wednesday, Thursday, or Friday.
