50% at home, 50% Travel to Gatwick and Heathrow DHL, an award-winning, leading supply chain business is seeking an IT Analyst to provide on-site support, maintenance, and fault diagnosis and to manage the resolution of any IT operational problems.

As part of your normal duties, whilst maintaining excellent health and safety practices, you will be responsible for: Providing IT support for the operation and acting as customer liaison for all IT systems impacting the BU. Providing technical support to end-users for applications, hardware, and software-related issues, troubleshooting problems, and resolving technical queries promptly and effectively. Collaborating with central IT teams, such as networking, infrastructure, and IT service management, to ensure smooth integration and alignment of IT support services. Liaising with central IT teams to assist in resolving complex technical issues that require their expertise and support. Maintaining accurate documentation of support activities, including incident reports, service requests, and knowledge base articles. Assisting in the development and implementation of IT policies, procedures, and guidelines to ensure standardized and efficient IT support services across the organization. Ensuring compliance with IT security protocols and data protection measures, proactively identifying and addressing potential vulnerabilities. Participating in IT projects, providing local operation knowledge and support in the implementation of new systems, upgrades, or migrations. During projects, providing support on testing, training & defect resolution management & capturing issues during go live. Supporting Test Managers during SIT, TAT & UAT testing phases. Supporting the IT Manager in identifying and coaching/training BU users. Staying up-to-date with emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices to continuously enhance IT support services. WHAT DO WE NEED FROM YOU? Experience of working in a similar IT Analyst role with experience supporting business systems, operating systems, and hardware in an operational environment. Experience in Service Desk. Experience being part of IT project delivery support or as part of an IT Service Management team. Experience of supporting projects for go lives and new customers including SIT and TAT processes.
