Karntek Ltd, a fire safety consultancy located in Stafford, is seeking an IT and Systems Administrator to join our growing team. This role is a fantastic opportunity for a knowledgeable IT professional to ensure the stability and security of our IT infrastructure while enhancing the efficiency of our operational processes.

The IT and Systems Administrator will be responsible for managing both software and hardware solutions, supporting our staff with technical issues. You will oversee system administration and optimisation, data and system integrations, and IT security and compliance, to ensure IT operations support the wider business goals.

Responsibilities

Manage, maintain, and optimize IT systems and network infrastructure Ensure the security and integrity of company data and systems, implementing appropriate security measures Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and training to onsite and field based staff as necessary Oversee software installations, upgrades, and system integration Collaborate with departments to assess IT needs and propose solutions Monitor system performance and conduct regular audits to improve functionality Stay updated on the latest technologies and industry trends to ensure best practices are adhered to Own and manage IT asset register Support with procurement of software and hardware, including licenses Requirements

Proven experience as an IT Administrator or in a similar role Strong understanding of network management and security Experience with cloud services and backup systems Excellent problem-solving skills and a keen attention to detail Strong communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively across teams Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and prioritize workloads effectively Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, Cisco, Microsoft) are advantageous, strong knowledge of Office 365 Benefits

Base Salary £26,000 - £29,000 DOE On site parking Full time role but part time hours may be available for the right candidate Karntek is an Equal Opportunities Employer.
