We are looking for an IT Applications Developer for an 18-month contract based in Warrington or Cumbria.

Job Overview: DelCap is the mechanism through which project management and delivery will be transformed to enforce optimized processes. Sellafield is seeking to both improve the quality of project delivery across the enterprise and reduce the overspend that has occurred in previous years due to time and physical clashes between projects and programmes on the site. Reporting to the Technical Architect, the Developer role is responsible for the development and deployment of a range of technical solutions within agile delivery projects.

Skills / Experience: Develop code to implement enhancements and interfaces to both in-house products and custom developed applications. Integrate external systems to fit client networked solutions. Support prototypes and demonstrations. Manage the implementation of solutions, including liaison with integration partners and suppliers. Assess detailed options for technical integration with solution architects. Implement microservices, including system security and good interface design. Experience of Object-Oriented design. Work with the wider Design Team to develop the maturity of our DevSecOps capability, artefacts & collateral. Act in PPP’s best interests and demonstrate core competencies of drive, flexibility, building relationships, communication skills, and self-motivation. Development with Microsoft .NET/Java and iBPM tools such as Pega, Power Automate, or Nintex. NB - To be considered for this position, you must have the right to live and work in the UK and be able to complete BPSS Security Clearance.
