IT Assistant

to join our

Oxford

IT team. This is a permanent full-time role with hybrid and flexible working options. The Role

Your key responsibilities will include: Monitoring our internal IT helpdesk and responding to queries in a timely manner. Monitoring the use of software (e.g., Microsoft) and hardware (e.g., printers) and looking for ways to improve our existing systems. Training and assisting with IT inductions for new starters. Liaising with third-party suppliers. Ordering and setting up new and replacement IT equipment. Updating technology and tools to ensure the latest products, documents, and relevant software are accessible and communicating prospective changes to employees. This role will require occasional travel to other offices. About You

To be successful in this role, you should have: 1 year of relevant work experience would be great, but is not essential. A minimum of 3 A-levels at grades A to C (or equivalent). A university degree with a 2:1 or above is desired but is not essential. A strong aptitude for IT and able to pick up new tech quickly. Super organised, able to juggle multiple tasks simultaneously. Able to prioritise workload effectively and work in a flexible manner. High attention to detail and accuracy. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. Enjoys a fast-paced work environment. A self-starter with a high level of resilience. Demonstrates a strong team spirit but also very effective working independently. A positive can-do attitude with a strong desire to learn and develop.
