IT Build Engineer

to join our Lifecycle team. This role is pivotal in ensuring the seamless configuration and deployment of PCs and laptops for various clients across our business. Key Responsibilities: PC and Laptop Builds:

Assemble and configure PCs and laptops based on client specifications, ensuring each build meets exacting standards and performance requirements. Quality Assurance:

Conduct thorough testing of hardware and software to guarantee reliability and performance before deployment. Client Interaction:

Collaborate with clients to understand their specific requirements and provide tailored solutions that meet their needs. Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of all builds, including specifications, configurations, and testing results. Inventory Management:

Manage and track inventory of components and peripherals to ensure availability and minimize downtime. Troubleshooting:

Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues that arise during the build process. Adherence to Timescales:

Work within set timescales and SLAs to ensure timely delivery of builds, without compromising on quality. Continuous Improvement:

Stay updated with the latest technology trends and advancements to continually improve build processes and solutions. Qualifications: Proven experience in PC and laptop assembly and configuration. Strong understanding of hardware and software testing procedures. Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail. Ability to manage inventory and track components effectively. Strong communication skills for client interaction and collaboration. Ability to work within tight schedules and meet deadlines.
