A fantastic new opportunity has arisen within the Group Risk Team for an IT Change Risk Manager. There are a number of exciting and significant transformation and change initiatives in progress across the Connells Group. These initiatives are key to delivering the Group’s strategic objectives and the transformation of technology platforms and solutions. In this brand new role, you will be responsible for providing second line oversight of change risk with a focus on technology transformation and change initiatives. The role will work collaboratively across the three lines of defence to support the successful execution of change. The role includes risk oversight of significant individual programmes and collating an aggregate view of the change risk profile for the Connells Group. Your key responsibilities: Deliver an effective second line change risk oversight approach, supporting framework and continuous improvement activity. Lead the assessment of programme and change risk as the second line SME in change, with a focus on technology transformation/change programmes. Develop holistic management information and reporting on the risk profile of significant change programmes and the aggregate risk profile to the Group arising from change. Engage and collaborate with the wider team to ensure appropriate SME input and challenge into the broader non-technology elements of change. Lead and deliver 'deep dive' reviews of specific programmes and change deliverables to include, as required: consideration of governance arrangements; solution design and selection; testing including non-functional testing, business readiness, delivery and implementation and transition into BAU. Engage with management to highlight potential gaps in the moment, provide structured feedback and drive improvements. Produce reports and MI for relevant groups, Committees and Board as required. The key competencies for this role are: Skills: Professional programme/change management qualification (e.g., CCMP, PMI, MSP) or IT audit (CISA) and equivalent experience of IT and change risk assessment at infrastructure, application and programme/project level. Demonstrable expertise in technology risk/change risk and control practices. Knowledge: SME in IT risk, technology transformation programmes and technology change assurance. Experience: Experience of working in a function with responsibility for IT risk, transformation and change. Experience of delivering or providing oversight over large technology transformation programmes. Experience of report writing appropriate for committees and ExCo level. Connells Group UK
