Location: Salisbury, Wiltshire Salary: £28,107 per annum (Professional Services Grade 6) Job Type: Permanent, Full Time 37 hours per week, 52 weeks per year Closing Date: 12th January 2025 IT Digital Support Advisor - The Role Are you passionate about technology and committed to helping others develop their digital skills? Wiltshire College & University Centre is looking for a proactive IT Digital Support Advisor to join our dynamic team. As the first point of contact for both staff and students, you will provide essential IT and digital support, resolving issues and offering expert advice on a variety of technical challenges. This is a fantastic opportunity to play a key role in promoting a digital-first culture across the College, ensuring our staff and students are equipped with the skills they need to thrive in today's fast-paced, technology-driven environment. IT Digital Support Advisor - Key Responsibilities: Your responsibilities will include: Provide expert, front-line IT and digital support to staff and students, resolving queries efficiently and professionally. Deliver training sessions on a range of digital tools and technologies to empower staff and students to maximise their potential. Promote a digital-first mindset across the College, supporting a smooth and effective transition to digital services and resources. Collaborate with various teams to enhance the effectiveness of digital services, contributing to the overall success of the College. Assist with troubleshooting, maintaining systems, and improving the digital learning experience. IT Digital Support Advisor - You: The ideal candidate will have: A genuine passion for technology and helping others. Experience in IT support, digital training, or a similar role is desirable. Strong communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in an accessible way. A proactive and customer-focused approach to supporting staff and students. Enthusiasm for continuous learning and development in a rapidly evolving digital landscape. Essential Qualifications: Maths and English GCSE at Grade C / 4 or equivalent Level 3 or above in a relevant subject area (IT or Customer Service) or equivalent knowledge and experience If you're excited about technology and want to help others enhance their digital skills, we would love to hear from you.
