Venesky-Brown’s client, a public sector organisation in Edinburgh, is currently looking to recruit an IT EndPoint Device Delivery & Support Engineer for an initial 3 month contract on a rate of £250/day (Inside IR35). This role will be based in Edinburgh and Local Offices across Scotland as part of delivery of devices. Responsibilities: Using Halo’s asset reports identify users and their devices that are scheduled to be replaced. Phase 1 - replace 70 devices that are over 5 years old. Phase 2 - replace c.120 devices that are 4 years old. Create Project Plan schedule for delivering 20 new endpoint devices and return of 20 old devices per week. Follow the organisation’s InTune process to build Windows 11 on the devices. Configure for specific users and test before delivery. Travel to Local Offices to deliver batches of new devices. Provide update comms and support to end users during the process. Minimum Requirements: SCQF Level 8 or Similar Experience building Windows EndPoint Devices, specifically using InTune. Experience capturing requirements Technical knowledge, experience and understanding of Windows 11 Concern for Quality – Follow processes to ensure accurate device delivery. Focus on Service – The desire to exceed the needs of the customer. Drive for Results – Put energy into achieving results and exceed goals. Experience working as an IT Engineer resolving issues and requests using a Ticket Management platform. Knowledge and experience of building batches of Dell Laptops and Microsoft Surface Pros. Experience manually updating asset records in Halo Asset Management. Experience working within an IT Team to deliver project goals.
