IT EndPoint Device Delivery & Support Engineer | 3 Month Contract | (Inside IR35) | Hybrid (Edinburgh) | Starting ASAP

Market Rates Overview: Harvey Nash's pub sec client is looking for an IT EndPoint Device Delivery & Support Engineer, there will be significant travel, you must have a valid Driving License. Responsibilities : Endpoint device delivery and set-up. Using Halo's asset reports identify users and their devices that are scheduled to be replaced. Phase 1 - replace 70 devices that are over 5 years old. Phase 2 - replace c.120 devices that are 4 years old. Create Project Plan schedule for delivering 20 new endpoint devices and return of 20 old devices per week. Follow VisitScotland InTune process to build Windows 11 on the devices. Configure for specific users and test before delivery. Travel to VisitScotland Local Offices to deliver batches of new devices. Provide update comms and support to end users during the process. Essential Skills & Experience: SCQF Level 8 or Similar Experience building Windows EndPoint Devices, specifically using InTune. Project Management experience Experience capturing requirements Technical knowledge, experience and understanding of Windows 11 Concern for Quality - Follow processes to ensure accurate device delivery. Focus on Service - The desire to exceed the needs of the customer. Drive for Results - Put energy into achieving results and exceed goals. Experience working as an IT Engineer resolving issues and requests using a Ticket Management platform. Desirable Skills Knowledge and experience of building batches of Dell Laptops and Microsoft Surface Pros. Experience manually updating asset records in Halo Asset Management. Experience working within an IT Team to deliver project goals This role has been deemed Inside IR35 by the client.
