My client is on the lookout for an enthusiastic IT Engineer to join their vibrant IT team in Norwich. In this role, you'll immerse yourself in a bustling and diverse IT environment, regularly engaging with a wide array of cutting-edge technologies and enjoying substantial customer interaction.

As a full-time IT Engineer, you'll operate from Monday to Friday (8.45 AM - 5.00 PM), making a lasting impact in a permanent position with a starting salary of £20,000 (salary negotiable based on experience). Your key traits will include exceptional communication skills, teamwork prowess, and a proactive work ethic, with an innate ability to swiftly acquire new skills.

Requirements:

While prior familiarity with the following technologies is a plus, it's not a requirement as comprehensive training will be provided:

IT hardware configuration: PCs, servers, mobile devices, peripherals First-line support Administration and support of Microsoft Server (2012R2, 2016, 2022) & client Operating Systems (Windows 8, 10, 11) Active Directory, Azure Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, Group Policy, and other server technologies and roles Office 365 Environments Microsoft Intune Networking infrastructure (LAN, WAN, and wireless) implementation & administration Firewall installation and configuration Microsoft Azure cloud concepts Possession of industry qualifications and Microsoft Certification Grasp of networking concepts: Design, VPN, Firewall, LAN, WAN Familiarity with IT security Knowledge of backup technologies MCP, MTA, MCSE, or Equivalent Experience Full driving licence (Essential) Benefits: Company pension scheme Free parking On-site parking for added convenience Opportunity for occasional site visits requiring UK driving
