IT Field Engineer required. Our client is a dynamic and diverse expanding support team, who have been trading for over 23 years and has a diverse array of clients, spanning almost every industry, so no day is ever the same!
This role will be based in their busy Lancing office, but regular travel will be part of the role, both on road and by rail. The successful candidate will need to have excellent interpersonal skills as well as excellent telephone-based abilities.
Responsibilities:
Travelling to customer’s sites and providing support / installation services Update and manage customers documentation Evaluate and prioritize tasks Supporting and installing desktops & laptops (Windows 8-10 Pro) Configurations and Networking Undertake day to day operations ensuring that all incidents, requests, and site maintenance work are effectively supported. Proven track record of providing excellent 1st/2nd line IT Support Proven track record in installing hardware and software onsite Have a full UK driving license Basic knowledge of Windows Server platform from 2012-2016 & Microsoft Exchange Fluent in supporting Microsoft Office Suite from 2013+ Confident at basic firewall / router related configurations as well as business firewall ports, IPv4 & DNS Working Hours and Benefits:
Monday to Friday 8:30am – 17:30pm Salary £25,000 – 28,000 DOE A generous paid holiday allowance with long time service benefits Company Van Access to the free company tuck shop If your birthday falls on a weekday – you get it off!
