Own vehicle required; expenses covered Overview Our client is mobilising the Primary Care IT contract across North Yorkshire and York. This project involves the migration of domain and network services for 125 sites between 6th January and 31st March 2025. The role will require flexibility in working hours, including early starts, potential overnight stays, and possibly weekend or evening work. We are seeking skilled

IT Field Engineers

to provide onsite support during the migration process, ensuring a smooth transition and addressing user issues promptly. Key Responsibilities Arrive onsite by 7:00 AM to assist GP Practices/NHS staff. Provide first-line support following the migration of domain and network services. Assist users with tasks such as: Logging into systems. Re-mapping printers. Restoring shortcuts and user settings. Gather, document, and escalate migration issues to the technical team. Act as the face of the client, delivering professional and responsive service to all users. Travel to various sites across North Yorkshire and York. Qualifications And Experience Preferred: Previous experience in GP Practice or NHS IT environments. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. Flexibility to adapt to early starts, travel, and potential overnight stays. Essential: Valid driver's license and access to a personal vehicle (expenses covered). Additional Information Base location: To be confirmed; expect extensive travel across North Yorkshire. Engineers may be required to cover different areas; exact allocations to be determined. This is a field-based role with a high level of autonomy and responsibility.
