Job Description

As the IT Governance Analyst you will work closely across IT teams to ensure compliance, efficiency, and effectiveness of our IT systems and services whilst seeking opportunities to improve our IT standards, and processes. You will also support the management of IT licences and contracts, ensuring optimal usage and alignment with business requirements. To succeed in this role, you will need strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills, as well as a good understanding of IT governance frameworks and best practices.

Responsibilities

Support the annual attestation process across the business, ensuring compliance with policies and standards, and liaising with stakeholders. Support the licence management process, ensuring that all licences are up to date, valid, and aligned with business needs and contractual obligations. Create and maintain KPI reports, from operational to board level, providing insights and recommendations on performance, risks, and opportunities. Support the IT cost centre owners on the operational aspects of the management of their annual budgets, including budget planning, monitoring, and reporting Support the audit activities, both internal and external, ensuring that deadlines are met, queries are handled efficiently and effectively, and findings and recommendations are followed up and resolved. Provide support across the IT function on appropriate IT processes and controls, monitoring their effectiveness, identifying gaps and issues, and monitoring remediation actions.

Qualifications

Previous experience in a similar role Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills, both written and verbal. Ability to work independently and collaboratively, and to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast-paced environment. Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word. Knowledge of governance frameworks, standards, and best practices Knowledge of IT controls within a regulated environment A strong collaborator, excellent relationship building and communication skills with the ability to engage people from diverse cultures and different levels. Strong interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to perform in an environment that emphasizes collaboration and teamwork. Able to work on own initiative whilst understanding the journey. Able to adapt and respond to changing corporate objectives as opportunities arise.
