As a 1st Level Support Agent, you will be the first point of contact for our employees, providing essential support and troubleshooting assistance. You will handle incoming queries, resolve basic technical issues, and escalate more complex problems to higher-level support. This role is ideal for someone with strong communication skills and a passion for helping others. Key Responsibilities will include: Responding to customer inquiries. Diagnose and resolve basic technical issues, following standard procedures. Document and track customer interactions and solutions in the ticketing system. Escalate complex issues to higher-level support or relevant departments. Provide excellent customer service and maintain a high level of customer satisfaction. Utilize ITSM tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence) for issue tracking and knowledge management. Skills & Knowledge Proficiency with ITSM tools (e.g., Jira, Confluence). Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks. Basic understanding of IT systems and software. Customer-focused attitude with a commitment to providing high-quality support. Strong empathy and patience when dealing with customers. Ability to work collaboratively within a team. Good time management and organisational skills. Openness to feedback and continuous improvement. We offer a competitive salary and benefits package: Pension on completion of your 3-month probationary period. Contributions start at 6% employee and employer, Evotec will match up to 7.5%. 25 days holiday plus bank holidays and additional length of service days awarded on the anniversary, up to a maximum of 30 days.
