3 months + Rolling Role Overview: We are seeking a skilled RAN Design Engineer to assist with the design and deployment of radio networks across a variety of new and existing projects. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in RAN design and a passion for delivering high-quality solutions in indoor environments. Key Responsibilities: Collaborate with project teams to design and deploy RAN solutions tailored to customer needs. Conduct site surveys and meetings at customer locations to gather requirements and assess existing network conditions. Utilise iBwave and Ranplan tooling for detailed radio network design and propagation analysis. Design and implement indoor small cell systems and products to enhance network coverage and capacity. Develop and manage designs for Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) to support seamless connectivity in challenging environments. Provide technical support and expertise throughout the project life cycle, ensuring adherence to best practices and standards. Liaise with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of RAN solutions with overall network architecture. Minimum Qualifications: Proven experience in RAN design, including both radio network design and deployment. Strong understanding of radio propagation principles and their practical applications. Technical proficiency in ideally Ranplan, or iBwave tooling for radio network design. Experience in designing and deploying indoor small cell systems and related products. Familiarity with Distributed Antenna Systems (DAS) and their implementation in various environments.
